Professor Takeda is a leading strategic thinker in Japan and an advisor to Japanese corporations and the government. He has a wide-ranging, unparalleled, network of contacts in government, business and academia in Japan, the United States and globally. He has been intimately involved in the Japan-U.S. relationship for several decades and has been a close advisor to Ambassador Howard Baker (Former US Ambassador to Japan) for decades. He has just joined Baker's The Japan-U.S. Strategic Advisory with Mr. Yachi, former Vice Minister of MOFA. Dr. Takeda has been Executive Director of Business University Forum of Japan since it was founded in 1992. He is a Professor of Social System Intelligence Laboratory and Advisor to the Office of the President, Waseda University, Japan.
