Richard is founder of Communications Lighthouse a company dedicated to helping clients make sense of the increasingly complex digital landscape
Over the last 18 years Richard has produced interactive media at the BBC, Yoomedia (now Mirada), TwoWayTV and a number of other leading edge UK companies, as well as strategies for companies such as Samsung, Unilever, COI and many others
When not innovating product, product development and creative business processes he has been a keen evangelist and experienced educator. He founded the Thames Valley University Interactive and Digital Arts Department and has held a Visiting Professorship in Digital Media at Salford University. He has spoken on interactive TV, digital creativity, interactive narrative and other topics at numerous conferences worldwide, including b.TWEEN, mip/millia, x-media labs, Sagasnet.de and many more
He has also developed innovative brand communications strategies and technology workshops and is an in-demand mentor on all things interactive and innovative
He is a published author on interactive media, is a member of BAFTA, and has judged numerous awards. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is currently writing his second book on interactive media...slowly
